What is Aniracetam?
Aniracetam, also known as Aniracetam, belongs to the Piracetam brain cell metabolizing the drug, which is the same as Piracetam and Nefiracetam. This type of drug can enhance the activity of phospholipase in neuronal synapses and increase the brain The formation and transport of ATP increases the synthesis of Chemicalbook protein and RNA, promotes the utilization of amino acids, phospholipids, glucose, and oxygen in the brain, and increases the patient’s responsiveness, excitability, and memory. The effect of Aniracetam is stronger than that of Piracetam, and its adverse effects are minor.
Pharmacology
Aniracetam has been shown to actively regulate AMPA receptors.
When ingested orally, Aniracetam is rapidly broken down by first-pass liver metabolism. The main metabolites of Aniracetam are N-anisyl-GABA, (70-80%), 2-pyrrolidone and p-anisic acid (20-30%).
In the first few hours after oral medication, the plasma concentration of Aniracetam is usually in the range of 5-15 μg/L, and the plasma concentration of N-anisyl-GABA (a pharmacologically active metabolite) is usually 5- Within 15 mg/L. These two types of plasma can be measured by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.
